Little Hands, Big Creativity: Candle Making Comes to Kids Camps This Spring and Summer
There's something magical about watching a child create something with their own two hands — the focus, the pride, the pure joy when they hold up something they made and say, "I did this."
This spring, we're bringing that magic to kids camps across the Midlands with our new live candle-making experiences.
Safe, Simple, and So Much Fun
We've designed these workshops around sand wax — a unique, moldable wax that's perfect for young crafters. No hot liquids, no open flames, no worry. Just pure creative exploration.
Kids get to shape, color, and scent their very own candles, learning about fragrance blending and the art of making something beautiful from scratch. It's sensory, it's hands-on, and it's the kind of screen-free activity that sparks real engagement.
Why Candle Making?
In a world of instant everything, there's real value in slowing down to create. Candle making teaches patience, encourages creativity, and gives kids a finished product they can actually use — or gift to someone they love.
And let's be honest: there's nothing quite like the look on a child's face when they light a candle they made themselves.
Bring Us to Your Camp
We're now booking spring and summer sessions for:
- Day camps and summer programs
- School enrichment activities
- Scout troops and youth groups
- Birthday parties and special events
Each workshop is tailored to the age group and includes all materials. Kids leave with their own handcrafted candle — and a whole lot of pride.
Interested in bringing candle making to your camp or youth program? We'd love to hear from you.
